Which card for what you shoot
- Photos: any SDHC or SDXC card works; the camera's UHS-II bus sets the top speed.
- Long bursts: a faster card empties the camera's buffer sooner, so you wait less after a burst; a UHS-II card makes the most difference here.
- Video: Rated V30 (UHS Speed Class 3) or faster for 4K.
Format it in the camera
Format a new card in the ZV-E10 II before the first shot: Menu, then the card or set-up tab, then Format. Copy anything on the card first; formatting erases it.

Questions about the card
Which memory card does the ZV-E10 II take?
One card slot, SD with the UHS-II bus. Any SDXC UHS-II card works for photos; a UHS-II card clears long bursts faster, and a UHS-I card still works at UHS-I speed. For 4K video, use a card rated V30 or faster.
Does the ZV-E10 II take UHS-II cards?
Yes. Its SD slot has the UHS-II bus, so a UHS-II card runs at full speed; a UHS-I card works too, more slowly.
Does the ZV-E10 II have two card slots?
No, it has one card slot. On the same mount, the FX30 has two.
