Canon EF and EF-S lenses on RF cameras
Canon's own EF-EOS R adapters let every Canon EF and EF-S lens autofocus on an RF-mount camera, stabilisation included.
Adapters
Old DSLR lenses from the same maker usually work on its mirrorless cameras through the maker's own adapter. Lenses do not move between two mirrorless mounts with autofocus from the camera makers.
Canon's own EF-EOS R adapters let every Canon EF and EF-S lens autofocus on an RF-mount camera, stabilisation included.
Nikon's FTZ II (and the earlier FTZ) fit F-mount DSLR lenses to Z cameras.
Sony's LA-EA3 and LA-EA5 adapters fit A-mount (Minolta and Sony DSLR) lenses to E-mount cameras.
Fujifilm makes no autofocus adapter for the X mount, so adapted lenses are a choice for manual focus.
A Sony E lens does not fit a Canon, Nikon or Fujifilm camera, and the camera makers sell no adapter between their mirrorless mounts. A few third-party adapters exist (for example Sony E lenses on Nikon Z bodies), with autofocus that the camera makers do not support. If you are changing systems, the lens you want is usually made for the new mount too: check a lens on a camera.
