Lenses for interiors and architecture on APS-C cameras

A room is too small to step back in, so interiors need an ultra-wide view: 20 mm equivalent or wider. Here is every such lens on each system, widest first.

The rule: lenses starting at 20 mm equivalent or wider; sorted widest, then lightest.

What the numbers tell you

From the doorway of a four-metre room, a 16 mm-equivalent view takes in about 9 metres of the far wall side to side; a 24 mm view about 6 metres. Keep the camera level so walls stay upright, and stand at about chest height. Very wide lenses stretch furniture near the edges of the frame; keep it away from the corners.

Questions

How are these interiors and architecture lenses chosen?

By one rule from the published numbers: lenses starting at 20 mm equivalent or wider; sorted widest, then lightest. No lens is paid to appear, and none is left out for having no Amazon listing.

Which of these fits my camera?

Every lens in a system's list fits every camera of that system. Choose your camera above to see its section first, or open your camera's page for weights with the camera.
